Johnni Langer

Johnni Langer (b. 1968) is a professor at Federal University of Paraiba, Brazil. He obtained his PhD degree in 2001, presenting a thesis that involved romantic European theories (during the 19th century) about Vikings in Brazil and South America, and he is currently dedicated to specific studies on representations of Norse Mythology and vikings in Danish art. He is the coordinator of NEVE (Nucleus of Vikings and Scandinavian Studies) and editor-in-chief of the research journal Scandia: Journal of Medieval Norse Studies
